Naturalization

Naturalization: Naturalization is the process by which permanent residents become US citizens. Generally, it requires that the applicants have been US permanent residents for five years and reside continuously as permanent residents in the United States for at least 5 years. Spouse of a US citizen may qualify instead by residing continuously in the U.S. for three years after becoming a US permanent resident and remaining in the marriage relationship to the US citizen spouse for three years.
